Connecting with Police Chief Duncan to begin the process of implementing Inspiring Kindness in the city of Salisbury! Chief Duncan lives her life by a code of kindness – “It’s the reason why people go into law enforcement to begin with,” says the Chief. “To make a change within their community.” Chief Duncan has most certainly done that! Through mentoring programs and loads of other police initiatives in Salisbury, Chief Duncan works tirelessly to protect and foster a loving and caring environment. It’s no shock that when approached about teaming up with Life Vest Inside and implementing our Inspiring Kindness initiative – Chief Duncan gave the thumbs up! Through Inspiring Kindness, law enforcement officials will receive Kindness Citations to distribute to citizens they catch engaging in acts of kindness in either word or deed. These Kindness Citations, trigger a donation to a local Salisbury non-profit to further the impact. It is our hope that through this initiative we can address the rift that has taken place between Law Enforcement officials and citizens. After all, we are all in this together!
